Retrofit Event for Construction Professionals & Homeowners

We’re pleased to share that our director, Gina Windley, will be speaking at an upcoming event hosted by Zero Carbon Cumbria - Renovation for Energy Efficiency – for Construction Professionals and Homeowners.

Taking place on Thursday 3rd April 2025, this event at Lakes College is designed for tradespeople and householders looking to better understand how to improve the energy performance of older buildings.

Gina will be sharing her architectural perspective on designing and delivering low-energy retrofits, including fabric-first approaches, getting homes heat pump ready, and lessons from recent Cumbrian projects.

The event includes:

• A choice of focused sessions on retrofit investigation, design and build

• Expert guidance on both full and lighter-touch retrofit strategies

• A tour of Lakes College’s new Green Energy Training Hub

• Hot food, drinks and networking from 5pm
